CFBR Daily Brief : 6/13/2022

CFL WK 1 Report - CFL WK 1 is in the books, and after some review of our weekend strategy, here are the final observations.  We were fairly accurate in our assessment of unders being a good play, unders were 2-2 on the weekend. However there were certain elements of matchups that were overlooked. An example relates to the ti-cats vs roughriders game. One our part, we should have accounted for the quarterback transition the ti-cats have been navigating with Jerimaih Masoli leaving the team. Finally, we were one away on the CFL WK 1 parlay! BC Lions just might have something with Nate Rourke.  Sell your stock in the Steelers - The PIttsburgh Steelers are a team that is rebuilding, they just cannot admit it. Losing a legend at QB,transition at GM, and drafting and acquiring a QB in free agency are not trends compatible with Super Bowls. The schedule will be ringer, although I do believe they will hit their current of 7.5, they play NFC South and the AFC East which provide ...

CFBR BRIEF: 6/9/2022

CFBR BRIEF: USFL MAY REPORT - During the month of May, it seems I unknowingly bet almost exclusively point spreads. When I reversed engineered my thinking on many of these plays, I feel as though I got a little cocky. I felt I knew the new league and how to bet it, when its reality it takes multiple weeks to determine how to beat a certain league in each season, especially with point spread betting. Montreal/Calgary U 47.5 is the CFBR CFL POD.   Also, according to Covers.com, the under is 9-4 is the last 13 matchups between these two teams. COLLEGE FOOTBALL ZERO WEEK PLAY TO LOCK IN NOW - CFBR has begun its research on the opening lines for both zero week and week 1 of the 2022 college football season. Although our research...

CFL Week 1 is just a day away, starting with a Thursday night clash of two 2021 playoff clubs, Montreal Alouettes and the Calgary Stampeders. CFL Football will continue throughout the weekend, being headlined by a Saturday doubleheader between Saskatchewan Roughriders playing host to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and ending with Edmonton Elks locking horns with the BC Lions. All told, it will certainly be a fun filled weekend of watching football and of course deploying some units on CFL football. The betting strategy going into the weekend should be focused on point totals, specially under plays.   The analysis to support our strategy is quite simple. Upon examination of two key factors, current combined o/u average for the 2022 WK 1 and the average combined final point total from WK 1 of 2021, it is discovered that the average point total of the combined four games of WK 1 is 39.5, moreover it is revealed that the average combined o/u number for 2022 WK 1 is 47.5, a whole 8 ...
