Alouettes and the Calgary
Stampeders. CFL Football will continue throughout the weekend, being headlined by
a Saturday doubleheader between Saskatchewan Roughriders playing host to the
Hamilton Tiger-Cats and ending with Edmonton Elks locking horns with the BC Lions.
All told, it will certainly be a fun filled weekend of watching football and of
course deploying some units on CFL football.
The betting strategy going into the
weekend should be focused on point totals, specially under plays. The analysis to support our strategy is quite
simple. Upon examination of two key factors, current combined o/u average for the
2022 WK 1 and the average combined final point total from WK 1 of 2021, it is discovered
that the average point total of the combined four games of WK 1 is 39.5, moreover
it is revealed that the average combined o/u number for 2022 WK 1 is 47.5, a
whole 8 points difference. This vast difference in numbers, and, the bettor
must also consider, that the CFL was in a work stoppage for almost all its
training camp time due to the labor dispute between the CFLPA and the CFL Board
of Governors. This will lead to lack of consistency on the field, both
offensively and defensively, which does not support an over play, and accordingly
the bettor should hammer the under in WK 1 of the CFL.
