CFBR Week 1
Well it's that time of year, the best time of year, college football has started, and it is time to hit the ATM, ask grandma for loan or maybe even panhandle, if that what is needed to scrape together some cash to throw down on some good ole NCAA Divison I-A college football. I have three plays that I love today. It was a rough Thursday, 0-2 ATS, so these three plays will be what brings us back.
UGA -17
Yes, I know that the Dawgs have lost substantial talent to the NFL Draft, however the game is being played in Atlanta, which makes it a de facto home game for UGA. Also, Dan Lanning will be making him Oregon head coaching debut, and that is a tall enough task, much less on national television against the reigning national champions, who happen to be your previous team. I`ll back the dawgs here, -17. I just don't think Oregon will be able to match up.
Utah -2.5
Kyle Whittingham is a very good coach and will have his team ready to go. Also, the Utes have a healthy amount of returning starters, especially on the offensive line, which always bodes well for bettors at the sportsbook. I understand the swamp will be crazy, however Billy Napier doesn't have the spice on the perimeter that is needed to take advantage of any athletic advantage they may have. I love the Utes at -2.5, -3 is also a fine number.
Ohio State -16.5
My reasoning for this play is, although I believe Marcus Freeman will be a good coach, to think he will be able to thwart Ohio State with its highly potent offense led by Heisman trophy favorite Cj Stroud would be naive. Coaching college football is hard, and is exponentially harder on the road, against a ranked opponent. I`ll hammer the buckeyes here to end a great day of college football wagering.
